if your broke and hungry you should have access to free music, movies etc. museums should have free entrance for everyone and be taken care of with tax money. and their should be more free theaters
if your basic needs are met and you still have money to spend, then you should pay for your favorit music, movies etc.
simple. kulture is for everyone. but it costs money and time and energy to create. respecting the arts means allowing everyone access, and it means that those with resources need to support those who share their soul with the masses.
in a perfect world all artists should be supported financially by the state. but at present real artistry is a balance weight to the state. so until the state is a perfect representation of the people, musicians and movie makers should be supported by tha people.
